You might’ve noticed there hasn’t been a TRIFECTA since last Wednesday. Substack shut down Newsvandal that afternoon for an apparent violation of their Terms of Service.
Just a few moments ago I received this response from their Standards & Enforcement team:
Thanks for taking the time to submit this appeal. It looks like your account was incorrectly flagged as spam. I've corrected the issue and you should now be able to use it again.
I am, of course, relieved. I still have no information re: this error. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was algorithmically generated. Whatever the cause, I apologize for the sudden disruption and thank you for your patience. I will resume posting tomorrow.
